Berlin, August 2025 – Carrier Community (CC), the global telecom club and industry platform, is proud to reflect on a successful and dynamic first half of 2025 while offering a preview of the exciting events ahead in the second half of the year. With a mission to unite telecom professionals worldwide, CC continues to foster innovation, partnerships, and forward-looking dialogue across the global connectivity ecosystem.
In just the first six months of 2025, CC welcomed over 3,000 members and C-level executives representing more than 1,000 telecom operators worldwide at its international networking gatherings.
A Strong Start to 2025
The year began with the 17th Annual Global Carrier Community Meeting (GCCM) in London, held January 26–28 at etc.venues County Hall. Co-located with Messaging & eSIMXchange, the event brought together industry leaders for three days of impactful networking and business development.
In February, CC hosted the Africa 2025 GCCM at the Hilton Cabo Verde Sal Resort. From February 23–25, connectivity, ICT, hyperscalers, satellite, subsea, mobile, messaging, and infrastructure leaders convened to collaborate on driving Africa’s digital transformation.
April marked a milestone in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with two flagship events: the International Wholesale Telecom Congress (iWTC) from April 13–15, powered by CC, and the inaugural CCL 2025 Summit on April 14, co-hosted with Uztelecom and RCC. These events highlighted Central Asia’s growing role in the global telecom landscape.
In June, CC delivered two major gatherings: the Submarine & Infra Summit (SIS 2025) in Lisbon, Cascais (June 5–6), and the Europe 2025 GCCM in Berlin (June 15–18). The Berlin meeting featured the Mobile & Messaging Summit (MMS) and the prestigious CC-Global Awards (CCGA) on June 17 at Metropol Berlin, celebrating excellence across the industry. The annual CCL Summit also convened more than 45 senior executives for high-level strategy sessions.

Looking forward, CC is preparing for an equally vibrant second half of the year:
- 8th Annual CIS GCCM– Almaty, Kazakhstan (September 3–5)
- 12th Annual Middle East GCCM– Muscat, Oman (November 2–4)
- Submarine & Infra Summit (SIS 2025) – Muscat Edition(November 2–4)
- 4th Annual CCL Club Summit– Muscat, Oman (November 2–4)
- Community Members Awards (CMA’25) Ceremony – Muscat, Oman (November 3)
These upcoming events will bring together global and regional leaders for strategic discussions, partnership-building, and networking in premium settings. Highlights include high-level forums, panel discussions, private executive dinners, and the distinguished CMA Awards Gala in Muscat.
