With a series of engaging events and sessions, May 2021 was another successful month for Carrier Community (CC) and they also confirmed that their main event, EUROPE 2021 GCCM, will now be held in Lisbon.
During May, the company hosted a packed schedule of On-site Executive Interviews and four excellent Live.Webinars sponsored by LANCK Telecom, Expereo, Amartus and RealNetworks. CC also finalised its plans for the first physical and virtual hybrid event of the year, EUROPE 2021 GCCM which will take place in Lisbon (not the UK as originally planned) on 24-25th June 2021.
Exclusive Executive Interview
On 31st May, Wida Schmidt, CEO of CC, presented an exclusive On-Site Interview with two Executives from NewTelco: Matthias Hartmann, Founder & Managing Director, and Jens Leuchters, Managing Director. Held in Frankfurt, listeners were invited to learn more about NewTelco’s main objectives and its current position both on Germany’s telco landscape and globally. Matthias and Jens also shared their outlook on the future of the company and the exciting launch of MAINZ RZ – a new datacentre extension planned for 2022.

On the 10th May, listeners enjoyed another expert CC-Webinar.Live session that covered trending industry topics, including: Digital Transformation, Fraud and Connectivity. Sponsored by RealNetworks, the captivating event moved into new territory, exploring perspectives on human and machine language converge.
EUROPE 2021 GCCM Lisbon
In anticipation of CC’s key 2021 event, the company is delighted to announce that EUROPE 2021 GCCM will now take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal. This prestigious event was initially expected to be held in the UK, but these plans were disrupted by Covid-19 travel restrictions and the location was moved to a more accessible venue. The CC team look forward to welcoming partners and members to sunny Portugal to attend this exclusive knowledge-sharing event. Once again, fellow members and peers will be able to reconnect, network and establish new business relationships, as Wida Schmidt, explains:
