Dear CC- Friends, Members and Partners,
We hope this update finds you in good health and spirits!
In these challenging times I would like to reach out again to you and share further CC updates: The situation around the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) keeps evolving and governments maintain strict regulations and social distancing to slow down the spread of the virus.
Consequently, we at CC will move our planned May CC-events in Berlin to August, 24th till 26th 2020. The new dates are in line with the strategies on behalf of the government of the Federal Republic Germany being announced.
At the same time we created alternative options for the coming weeks and months that are leveraging our existing community digital media, promotion and networking platform and virtually connect our community members to stay online and connected with peers with the following specific steps:
- CC decided to open up its online meeting platform and organise for its members Special GCCM online editions starting with the ‘GCCM Online Meeting May 2020’ on 11th & 12th May 2020 and the second one planned for 19th & 20th May 2020 including our ‘CC-Webinar.Live’ keynote presentation, discussion panels, executive interviews and knowledge sharing sessions. These online meetings will enable members to continue business development and re-create business opportunities using the GCCM Online Meeting Tool and stay connected with the peers virtually.
- CC members can continue to network online and conduct business from their homes 24/ 7 with peers utilizing one central CC online platform as well as having access to the panel discussion and knowledge sharing webinar sessions.
- We at CC are leveraging on our online meeting tool capabilities while adding in between some new fields and features including advanced search engines with an enhanced filter/ selection tool for most relevant peers to connect to and link up via virtual video conferencing communication channels. Though, due to the current limited online capacity available, only limited number of members can register per online meeting event. Registration confirmation are subject to the availability of the online slot at the time of registration. Our Event Team will reach out to all members and partners to discuss the available online branding and maximum branding reach options and how to assist further.
- We provide our community members with our six cc- digital media and promotion channels to share messages and further promote their brands while leveraging on our digital monthly magazine, social media channels, online advertising, monthly newsletters, virtual webinar.live branded key note sessions and executive interviews.
Furthermore, on 20th April 2020, the CC Team will announce the CC Global Awards shortlisted companies. The official ceremony will be moved to the re-scheduled Berlin events planned for the 25th of August 2020.
To further support the global community and people around the world to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Carrier Community (CC) decided to donate 5 Euro for any future individual services we promote. All donated funds raised will be announced, reported and sent to the COVID-19 Research Federations and Consortiums. Lets help each other during these difficult times where we can, stick together as a crowd and harness our professional community to serve mankind.
