GlobalRoam Deploys Cataleya’s Orchid One to Optimise Its OTT, API and Wholesale Voice Services
Cataleya’s next-generation Session Border Controller enables GlobalRoam to grow and protect voice revenue with guaranteed performance and Voice Fraud mitigation
Singapore, 6 July 2017 – Cataleya, a leader in IP and networking innovation, has been selected by GlobalRoam Group Limited, a Singapore-based integrated telecommunication service provider, to deploy its Orchid One Session Border Controller (SBC). Orchid One enables GlobalRoam to grow its Voice revenue and protect against Voice Fraud with end-to-end intelligent network analytics.
GlobalRoam benefits from real-time fraud detection and Machine Learning capabilities that offer full visibility into its network performance for its two own branded mobile applications, Pfingo and Toku, and other microservices. Orchid One will be used to enhance the voice security of the mobile apps and reliably route calls to GlobalRoam’s SIP Trunk provider.
“We were impressed by Orchid One’s track record of successful implementations with Tier 1 Carriers worldwide and it was by far the best SBC when we did our competitive analysis. The real-time detection of fraud and other anomalies for both signaling (SIP) and voice payload (RTP) is truly impressive, especially because of the machine learning capabilities that go way beyond the CDR data analysis of most of its competitors,” said Thomas Laboulle, CEO at GlobalRoam Group
Established in 2001, GlobalRoam connects people across diverse media and platforms through reliable solutions. It’s core business is focussed on the development of authentication and communication microservices including OTT mobile apps, APIs and wholesale voice termination.
“GlobalRoam is a unique businesses with a uniquer vision for the market. Cataleya’s next-generation SBC is built to address the need for end-to-end visibility and quality of experience (QoE) in IP Neworks. Orchid One’s real-time quality of service (QoS) analysis and reporting engine detects and predicts voice call performance to ensure highest quality and reliability. GlobalRoam can benefit from enhanced performance analytics and security of its advanced communication services with Orchid One.
“Cataleya’s Orchid One is facilitating the management of the multiple routes used in our B2B and B2C activities. From the error free upload of the rates to the configuration of essential route treatment and policies like the Low Cost Routing and the Track Service Assurance, the solution has been critical in improving the maturity level of our business.
