Sénégal Numérique, Cabo Verde Telecom SA , and EllaLink have joined forces to establish a new high-performance, low-latency connection between West Africa and Europe, as well as unlock new market opportunities in Latin America and North America.Cabo Verde Telecom’s new Data Centre in Praia becomes a digital hub for West Africa, offering co-location and hosting services. The facility already welcomes two submarine cables and is designed for more landings.
In addition to fostering the Senegal digital transformation for both the administration and private sector, the launch of the SHARE submarine cable complements the infrastructure projects launched by Sénégal Numérique (Data Centre, Fibre Optic Network, Senegal Services e-Counter, etc.).
Linking Dakar to Praia (🇨🇻 Cape Verde) SHARE extends EllaLink’s reach to West Africa, providing enhanced services to customers.
