Tolga oversees the Telco side of IDC’s syndicated research, custom consulting, and advisory services across the META region. Tolga is a proficient consultant with 19+ years of experience in ICT Policy & Regulations, Telecommunications, Internet of Things, Digital Services, and Over-the-Top (OTT) ecosystems. He is responsible for market sizing, insights, analysis and contribute towards the development of overall consultancy services of IDC.

Tolga has spent 7 years in Saudi Arabia during his tenures at IDC and STC and developed deep industry knowledge and hands on research and consulting experience in Saudi and regional ICT ecosystem; covering telcos, ICT regulators, system integrators, and other stakeholders.

Prior to KSA, he spent 10 years at ICTA in Turkey on carrying out various economic regulations around licensing, wholesale access and interconnection (call origination/termination, bit stream access, local loop unbundling, wholesale line rental, access to DQ database, co-location, and facility sharing), number portability, migration towards next generation access networks, ICT indicators, dispute resolution etc in line with European Union regulatory framework.
