Daniel is a co-founder of Preiskel & Co and has over 25 years’ experience working in the telecoms and hi-tech sectors, advising across the globe.  He has been ranked for over 20 years in major independent research guides as one of the world’s leading communications lawyers.

He is particularly recognised for his international commercial and regulatory work in the telecoms sector as a whole.  He leads a team of international lawyers advising a range of fixed and wireless carriers across the globe including on IoT, connected cars, MNOs, MVNOs, resellers and hosted telephony providers. Daniel also advises on satellite, OTT and net neutrality regulation and commercial aspects.  Clients are throughout the telecoms ecosystem and also include governments and communications regulators, mobile data clearing houses and data centres.

He also advises communications providers on GDPR, data retention and privacy, surveillance, interception and encryption issues as well as on international acquisitions.

Daniel has been for some years on one of the judges for the prestigious “Telecoms Oscars” Capacity Awards, including being a judge for their first ever Telecoms ESG Award.

Daniel is a former MEF EMEA Board member (Mobile Ecosystem Forum) and telecoms investment banker at Deutsche Bank.

Arun is an expert advisor, business coach and investor. His is currently VP at Cartesian, a specialist TMT management and strategy consultancy. He founded and ran a specialist boutique advisory business, Red Dawn Consulting specialising in TMT & Finance, which has merged into Cartesian. Arun sold his initial consultancy business, Redbox Consulting to Analysys Mason, and headed up its Telco Business unit. He served on the Board & was their Sales Director. Arun’s vision is to implement emerging digital strategies, a market underserved by “generalist” consultancies. Arun has a passion for propagating his industry wisdom to clients across the globe. His deep insights stem from a 30 year career in TMT & finance, starting from his days as a qualified Chartered Accountant in the London office of PWC. Following this, Arun held key industry roles within BSkyB & Orange, becoming the Head of Revenue & Pricing, then Head of Controlling for Orange Switzerland. Arun joined CSMG Adventis (now Cartesian), a Boston based strategy consultancy in 2000, before building his own consultancy business. Arun leads global research, strategic, implementation projects & has held interim CCO and COO positions, at Ministry of Sound, Colt, Teleena etc.
